Marcel has been the knight in shining armour for many damsels in distress, who do not have handyman-husbands. My women friends and I rely totally on him; and he makes our décor and renovation dreams come true by adding his creative and skill values. He has singlehandedly made it possible to renovate and maintain my 100 year old Victorian heritage house for 23 years.
Just to mention a few of his talents: building/aesthetic advice, carpentry (customised furniture, as well as restoring old pieces), out-of-the-box thinking, fountain building, restore hacked-up pillars with the original profile, replacing ceilings with pressed steel ceilings, installing round-the-house music, plumbing challenges (there are plenty in an old house!), hanging doors and electrical solutions. Marcel is so much more than a handyman, as he adds invaluable value to any task he undertakes. This is not just a job for him, this is "work with heart" for him! If he ever retires, I will have to sell my house!
